Friday I drove out to 192nd and Mill Plain to do a walk through with the contracting company that designed and built the Sharma building at 500 E 192nd Ave. Bett Kaber, Project Manager for RSV Building Solutions and her team walked me through the 8400 sq. ft. building that currently has three committed tenants. As she handed the keys to Dr. Geetika Chawla, and it was an exciting moment to pause and reflect on how far this project had come
Dr. Sanjeev Sharma had been eyeing this out parcel just east of Wal-Mart since 2011. We tried on several occasions to negotiate deals with them , and finally succeeded, closing the property in July of 2012. Since then we’ve had the good fortune to sign agreements with Verizon, Cafe Yumm, and Dr Don Kim to locate his dental practice on site. In fact during the walk through and hand off Dr. Kim and his entire staff came and walked through the space with us. They are full of enthusiasm for this great new location.
In the next few weeks you should begin to see the Tenants contractors build out the interior spaces and look for grand opening ceremonies by all these companies as we move toward late spring
