While much of Clark County seem to be caught up in a debate about development and growth around black oil trains , there is a group taking an entirely different tac to create new jobs and growth in our community built around expanding our ability to use and maintain clean healthy water.
Tuesday the Clark Regional Water Board of Commissioners approved a contract that launches the construction of the Discovery Clean Water Alliances pipe line to Ridgefield. This 25 million dollar project – slated to get underway in June of this year and be completed in 2016 will be the key to unlocking opportunities for growth in North Clark County.
Congratulations to Tapani Construction. It was announced they were awarded the contract to build the pipeline. Excellent work by the staff and Board of CRRWD, along with their 3 DCWA partners.
